SPECIAL JAZZ IMPROVISATION STUDIES
For trombone and trumpet players include my method to quickly relate CHORDS TO KEYS and RANDOM EAR TRAINING so you can develop melodic jazz improvisation quickly. Great improvisers are playing MELODIC. LINES , NOT PATTERNS. You want to create and focus on the line using chords and keys as a base guide but not the rule.
BRASS STUDIES.
For embouchure and tone development. We must be able to play for several hours and sound good. Studies are based on long tones and proper practicing concepts to build muscles gradually without damaging them.
